Basketball Game Preview: Geneva Panthers vs. Wayne Eagles

Geneva is 1-9 against Wayne since December of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Panthers will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Wayne will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Geneva extended their winning streak to three on Friday. The Panthers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Waterloo 76-35.

Meanwhile, Wayne had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Mynderse Academy 80-52 on Friday. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Geneva's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Geneva couldn't quite get it done against Wayne in their previous meeting back in March as they fell 46-39. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
