East Chambers has gone 6-1 against Liberty recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The East Chambers Buccaneers will host the Liberty Panthers at 7:00 p.m. East Chambers' last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

East Chambers' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Tuesday. They beat Hamshire-Fannett by a goal, winning 1-0. Given the Buccaneers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 168th, while the Longhorns are ranked 810th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

East Chambers' one-goal win came courtesy of Max Vargas, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Liberty's game last Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Livingston by a score of 1-0.

East Chambers is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
