Basketball Recap: Christian Academy of Louisiana Crusaders vs. Open Door Christian Academy Conquerors
Christian Academy of Louisiana had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 54-37 to the Open Door Christian Academy Conquerors. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Conquerors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Parker Smith was a one-man wrecking crew for Open Door Christian Academy as he went 8 for 15 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points plus six assists and six rebounds. Smith's evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Martin, who had four points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.
The victory got Open Door Christian Academy back to even at 1-1.
