Brayden Slaughter posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 185 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 11.6 yards per carry, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 69 yards.

Slaughter and Heritage will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on LaFayette at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th. The Generals are a perfect 6-0 against the Ramblers going back to October of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
