Soccer Recap: Pearl River Falls to Slidell in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Pearl River unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Slidell Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Monday. Pearl River have struggled against Slidell recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Christian Marin and Anthony Oseguera scored both of Pearl River's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

The win got Slidell back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pearl River will challenge Christ Episcopal School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Slidell, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy at 5:30 p.m.
