Devin Woodley Game Report: vs St. Joseph

Rochester came out on top against St. Joseph on Wednesday thanks in part to Devin Woodley's efforts. The Spartans had no answer to Woodley as he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). Woodley has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Woodley and Rochester will square off against Leechburg at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 350 places lower in Pennsylvania), but they're not letting that get them down.
