There's no place like home for Churchland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Lake Taylor Titans by a score of 3-1 on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 two weeks ago.

Churchland walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 11-25, 25-21, 25-14.

Aiyana Samuels paced Churchland's offense, picking up nine kills. Samuels got some help from Adriana Lomonaco and her ten assists. Samuels was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Churchland's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Lake Taylor, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
