Softball Recap: Warrensburg Triumphs

While Warrensburg's win against Johnsburg Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Burgers had just enough and edged out the Jaguars 19-18. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Burgers considering their two-run performance the contest before.

The victory got Warrensburg back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Warrensburg will head out on the road to take on Fort Edward at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Flying Forts' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Burgers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Johnsburg Central has already played their next game (against Wells), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
