Baseball Recap: Desert Mirage Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Desert Mirage was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the RAMS were not able to get on the board.

Desert Mirage now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Coachella Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Coming up, Desert Mirage will square off against Desert Hot Springs at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Desert Hot Springs has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.3 runs per game on average), something Desert Mirage will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Coachella Valley, they will challenge Central at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Coachella Valley 2.9, Central 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
