Basketball Recap: Wesson Victorious

Wesson won the last time they faced Amite County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wesson Cobras came out on top against the Amite County Trojans by a score of 44-35.

The victory got Wesson back to even at 8-8. As for Amite County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wesson and McLaurin will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Wesson is facing McLaurin at the right time seeing as McLaurin is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Amite County, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Columbia at 1:00 p.m. on December 27th.
