Softball Recap: Pritzker Takes a Loss

Pritzker couldn't beat Mansueto on Saturday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Jaguars took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Leopards. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Leopards this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on Wednesday.

Alanie Philips made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Alania Pizarro was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Pritzker and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Mansueto, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

As of now, neither Pritzker nor the Leopards have any future games scheduled.
