Basketball Game Preview: Loyola College Prep Flyers vs. North DeSoto Griffins

The Loyola College Prep Flyers will face off against the North DeSoto Griffins at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Loyola College Prep has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since January 17.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 50-14, which was the final score in Loyola College Prep's tilt against Booker T. Washington-Shreveport on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Flyers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 1505th, while the Lions are ranked 228th).

Meanwhile, North DeSoto came up short against Woodlawn-Shreveport on Friday and fell 33-24. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loyola College Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for North DeSoto, their loss dropped their record down to 12-16.

Everything came up roses for Loyola College Prep against North DeSoto in their previous matchup back in February of 2015, as the squad secured a 67-39 victory. Will Loyola College Prep repeat their success, or does North DeSoto have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
