Baseball Recap: Littlerock Takes a Loss

Littlerock saw some tournament action on Thursday. They lost 7-1 to the Chino Cowboys. The Lobos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saul Orozco Jr. was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Littlerock's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chino, their victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Littlerock didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-3 win against Silver Valley on the 28th. As for Chino, they will head out to take on Montclair at 3:30 p.m. on March 7th. Chino's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Montclair's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
