Basketball Recap: Charles Page Takes a Loss

Charles Page was the 61-49 winner over Carl Albert when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Charles Page Sandites were outmatched by the Carl Albert Titans and fell 71-43. While losing is never fun, the Sandites can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 163rd, while the Titans are ranked 50th).

Charles Page dropped their record down to 6-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Carl Albert, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Charles Page wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-45 defeat against Edmond Memorial on the 25th. Carl Albert has also already played their next contest, a 60-39 victory against Putnam City on the 25th.
