Mira Mesa fell victim to Patrick Henry and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 24-20 back in September.

Khloe Avinion threw for 67 yards on eight of 24 attempts. Olivia Peralta was her top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.

Mira Mesa has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.2 points on average over those games. As for Patrick Henry, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-7.
