Baseball Recap: Bluffton Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Bluffton entered their tilt with Spencerville on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Bearcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Pirates have posted since April 15th.

Keaton Howbert looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Bluffton is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 7-10 otherwise.
