Basketball Recap: Marquette Comes Up Short at Home Against Lindbergh

Marquette unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 72-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lindbergh Flyers on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the Mustangs' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Marquette will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Jefferson City at 4:00 p.m. on December 6. As for Lindbergh, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Gateway Science Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
