Basketball Game Preview: Walsh Eagles vs. Kim/Branson Mustangs

Walsh is 0-10 against Kim/Branson since February of 2018 but things could change on Saturday. The Walsh Eagles just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Kim/Branson Mustangs at 3:00 p.m.

Walsh is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Friday. They were beaten by Moscow 48-19. The Eagles were down 41-13 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Kim/Branson beat Holly 34-29 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Kim/Branson found their leader in sophomore Kennedy Cranson, who went 7-for-16 en route to 19 points and eight steals. Kim/Branson is 10-5 when Cranson posts three or more steals, but 1-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Gabriela Rios, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

Walsh's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Kim/Branson, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.

Walsh came up short against Kim/Branson in their previous matchup back in January, falling 43-31. Can Walsh avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
