Brantley County waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They managed a 57-53 win over the Thomasville Bulldogs.

When it comes to explaining why Thomasville lost, don't look at Jaleah Brown. Despite the final result, she went 9 of 18 on her way to 23 points and five steals. Brown continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Harmony Bryant, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 boards.

Brantley County pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Thomasville, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5.

Brantley County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-11 win against Jeff Davis on the 11th. As for Thomasville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 54-38 victory against Brookwood on the 11th.
