Rocky Mountain waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 50-40 victory over the Hot Springs County Bobcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Grizzlies also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.

Rocky Mountain got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lauren Bassett out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 boards. Bassett is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kaysie Cooley, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 16 points.

Rocky Mountain smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in six consecutive matchups.

Rocky Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Hot Springs County, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Rocky Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-29 victory against Big Horn on the 1st. Hot Springs County has also already played their next match, a 52-50 defeat against Lovell on the 1st.
