Preview: Loretto Mustangs vs. Deshler Tigers
Loretto is on a six-game streak of home wins, while Deshler is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. Having just played yesterday, the Loretto Mustangs will get right back to it and host the Deshler Tigers at 2:30 p.m. on December 20th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Loretto is ranked 16th in Tennessee, while Deshler is ranked 12th in Alabama).
On Tuesday, Loretto's game was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They took down Moore County 58-44.
It was another big night for Ally Weathers, who scored 22 points. The contest was her tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sophia Weathers, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Deshler was the victim of a tough 67-46 defeat at the hands of Summertown on Monday.
Loretto's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Deshler, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
