Softball Recap: Big Rapids Comes Up Short

Big Rapids managed to slip by Chippewa Hills the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Cardinals came up short against the Warriors on Monday, falling 16-10. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since May 13, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Big Rapids now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Chippewa Hills, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Big Rapids is set to challenge their familiar foe Grant at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Chippewa Hills will square off against rival Newaygo at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
