Softball Recap: Steele Canyon Comes Up Short

If Steele Canyon was riding high fresh off their 17-0 takedown of Escondido on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Steele Canyon Cougars came up short against the Westview Wolverines on Monday, falling 8-1. The Cougars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolverines apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2022.

Steele Canyon's loss dropped their record down to 3-4. As for Westview, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Steele Canyon will face off against Clairemont at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westview, they are taking a road trip to face off against Patrick Henry at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
