Softball Recap: Fort Edward Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Fort Edward's offense. They came up short against the Whitehall Railroaders on Monday, falling 13-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Flying Forts of the 11-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Fort Edward has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Whitehall, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Fort Edward will take on Fort Ann at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Whitehall, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fair Haven at 4:30 p.m. on May 12.
