Softball Recap: Upper Sandusky Rams vs. Columbian Tornadoes
Upper Sandusky was the 12-1 winner over Columbian when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Upper Sandusky Rams took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Columbian Tornadoes on Monday. Upper Sandusky has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Logan Kennedy was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Addy Newman, who scored two runs and stole two bases.
Upper Sandusky's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Columbian, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-17 record this season.
Upper Sandusky will head out on the road to square off against Buckeye Central at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Upper Sandusky is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season. Columbian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
