Volleyball Recap: Four Straight Home Victories for Arcadia

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mayfield, Arcadia was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Burbank Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Arcadia never let Burbank on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-22.

Natalia Flores paced Arcadia's offense, picking up 11 kills. Flores got some help from Allison Chen and her 16 assists. Flores was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Arcadia's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. As for Burbank, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Coming up, Arcadia will venture away from home to take on Burroughs at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Burbank, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Hoover on the 25th.
