Wylie put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lakeview Centennial Patriots an 8-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won 14 games by three goals or more so far this season.

Wylie pushed their record up to 18-0 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road. As for Lakeview Centennial, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Looking ahead, Wylie will be playing in front of their home fans against Wylie East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few goals on average, (Wylie East 0.4, Wylie 0.2) so any goals scored will be well earned. Lakeview Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
