 The Madison County Cowboys will head out on the road to  face off against  the Chiles Timberwolves at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The last five games Madison County has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
 Last Friday,  it was close, but  Madison County sidestepped Hamilton County for  a  6-5 victory. That's two games straight that Madison County has won by  just one  run.
 The team  relied heavily on  LOGAN BASS, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and  an  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  AMARI ALEXANDER, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Chiles had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs), and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They were the clear victor by  a  9-1 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for Chiles, who have now won six contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Natalie Rorison and  Grace Xu dominated on the mound. Rorison  tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits, while  Xu  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Rorison has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Lilly Morris, who  went 3-for-3 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Kaitlyn Fagan, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
 Madison County now  has a winning record of 10-9. As for Chiles, their win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-12.
 Chiles' hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Tuesday. Madison County has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 9.4  strikeouts per game.
