Softball Recap: Glenville-Emmons Wolverines vs. Lyle/Pacelli Athletics
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Madelia, Glenville-Emmons was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lyle/Pacelli Athletics by a score of 9-5. The Wolverines haven't had any issues with the Athletics recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Addie Mattson looked comfortable as she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Lilah Reindal was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2024. Libby Bell was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
Glenville-Emmons' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Lyle/Pacelli, they are on a 26-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
