Spring Lake typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Covenant Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 45-32 win over the Spring Lake Lakers. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Lakers are ranked 158th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Covenant Christian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Spring Lake, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-7 record.

Covenant Christian will venture away from home to challenge Holland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Lake, they will host Zeeland East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
