Soccer Recap: South Central Takes a Loss

South Central managed to keep up with New Bern until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Falcons lost 5-0 to the Bears. While losing is never fun, South Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 492nd, while New Bern are ranked 85th).

South Central dropped their record down to 0-12-2 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for New Bern, their win bumped their record up to 14-1.

South Central has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Jacksonville on the 16th. As for New Bern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 1-0 defeat against D.H. Conley on the 16th.
