Jones waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Newman Smith.

Harper Green paced Jones' offense, picking up 15 kills. Green got some help from Khloe Avalos and her 21 assists. Finally, Abby Delbosque kept Jones' defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Jones' victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Newman Smith, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coincidentally, Jones and Newman Smith will both be playing Stephenville the next time they take the court. Jones will head out to face Stephenville at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, while Newman Smith will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
