Volleyball Recap: Westmont Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Westmont lost against Evergreen Valley back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Warriors fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Westmont ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 11 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 21-25, 15-11.

Agatha Kogan paced Westmont's offense, picking up 18 kills. Kogan got some help from Helen Ho and her 57 assists.

Westmont's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Evergreen Valley, their win ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 17-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Westmont is set to challenge their familiar foe Piedmont Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Evergreen Valley will take on rival Branham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
