Volleyball Recap: South Columbus Beats East Bladen for Their Third Straight Win

South Columbus entered their tilt with East Bladen on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Eagles. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 26, 2023, but that streak is no more.

South Columbus had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 9-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-19.

The victory got South Columbus back to even at 9-9. As for East Bladen, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Columbus will take on Red Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Bladen, they will square off against West Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
