Football Game Preview: Windsor Jaguars vs. Vintage Crushers + How To Watch

Windsor is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Vintage is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Jaguars will host the Crushers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Friday, Windsor came up short against San Marin and fell 35-27.

Despite their defeat, Windsor saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Blayke Ferronato, who picked up 217 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one rushing score, was perhaps the best of all. Ferronato was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 65 yards. Carter Vose lll was another key signal caller, throwing for 380 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Windsor didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ferronato and Fernando Lopez.

Meanwhile, Vintage fell victim to Marin Catholic and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Wildcats, falling 31-0. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Crushers, who until this matchup were averaging 13 points allowed.

Having lost for the first time this season, Vintage fell to 6-1. As for Windsor, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Windsor beat Vintage 14-7 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Crushers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
