Softball Recap: Sanderson Takes a Loss

Sanderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Broughton Capitals. The game marked the first time this year in which the Spartans were not able to get on the board.

Sanderson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Broughton, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

While Sanderson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
