Basketball Game Preview: Richmond Red Devils vs. Batesville Bulldogs

The Richmond Red Devils and the Batesville Bulldogs will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Batesville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Richmond, who comes in off a win.

Richmond is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Fort Wayne South Side 57-33 on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Red Devils have posted since January 5th.

Meanwhile, Batesville unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 46-38 to Connersville. The matchup was a 21-21 toss-up at halftime, but the Bulldogs couldn't quite close it out.

Richmond's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Batesville, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-3.
