Softball Recap: Central Private Comes Up Short

After flying high against West Feliciana last Thursday, Central Private came back down to earth. The Central Private Redhawks fell just short of the St. Michael Warriors by a score of 8-7 on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 last Tuesday.

Central Private's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for St. Michael, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Central Private didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 14-1 defeat against St. John on the 7th. As for St. Michael, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Ascension Catholic on the 8th.
