Softball Recap: Chariton Takes a Loss

Chariton was the 8-0 winner over Central Lee when they last played one another back in June of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Chargers fell 6-2 to the Hawks on Friday. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chariton's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Central Lee, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Chariton has already played their next contest, a 7-3 win against Fairfield on the 14th. Central Lee has also already played their next game (against Holy Trinity Catholic), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
