Myrtle Point had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Toledo Boomers with a sharp 10-0 win. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by exactly ten runs.

Jake Sproul was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Skyler Zick, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs. Hogge Logan also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Myrtle Point always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Toledo only posted an OBP of .000.

Myrtle Point's record is now 16-4. As for Toledo, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Myrtle Point will take on Reedsport at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Toledo, they will square off against Monroe at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
