Baseball Recap: Canon City Takes a Loss

Canon City lost against Pueblo South back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tigers fell 7-3 to the Colts. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Canon City saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edgardo Cubero, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Canon City now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Pueblo South, their record now sits at 10-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canon City will head out to challenge Pueblo East at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pueblo South, they will venture away from home to square off against Mesa Ridge at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
