Bingham has gone 9-1 against Copper Hills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Miners will head out to face off against the Grizzlies at 3:30 p.m. Bingham's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Copper Hills' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Bingham took a 13-run defeat the last time they faced off against Ridgeline, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Miners narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Riverhawks 5-4.

The team relied heavily on Brooklynn Fogg, who scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Shyann Banasky was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.
Meanwhile, Copper Hills made easy work of Layton on Wednesday and carried off an 11-1 win. The Grizzlies might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by eight runs or more this season.
Bryton Dawes was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Copper Hills let Sadie Stringam and Ellie Reynolds run wild. Stringam went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Reynolds scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That home run was Stringam's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Clarissa Hotton, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Copper Hills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Layton only posted an OBP of .292.
The victory made it two in a row for Copper Hills and bumps their season record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Bingham, they now have a winning record of 6-5-2.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Bingham hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. However, it's not like Copper Hills struggles in that department as they've averaged .377. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Bingham was able to grind out a solid victory over Copper Hills in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 8-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Miners since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
