Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Christian Falls to Valley Christian in First Game of Season

Pacifica Christian had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Valley Christian Defenders, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-11.

Pacifica Christian's offense was headlined by Sophia Bone and Emma Hartman, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Addie Roberson and her eight assists. Finally, Charlotte Booth kept Pacifica Christian's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Valley Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Pacifica Christian is taking a road trip to square off against Beckman at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Valley Christian, they will take on Woodrow Wilson at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
