Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Oso). They claimed a resounding 96-25 victory over the Raymondville Bearkats. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on 14 straight.
Milauni Williams was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double with 29 points, 18 rebounds, and ten steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Malaigha sweats, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and 12 boards.
West Oso smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 31 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 37 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
When it comes to explaining why Raymondville lost on Thursday, don't look at Adaleigh Knight. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. Knight's evening made it 18 games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points.
West Oso's victory bumped their record up to 29-5. As for Raymondville, their loss dropped their record down to 16-14.
