Football Recap: Cypress Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cypress Creek is still winless after their matchup against University on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cougars. The Bears lost against the Cougars in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 42-6 score last time.

Cypress Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for University, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Creek will host East River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for University, they will face off against Lake Brantley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
