Basketball Recap: Landrum's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Landrum had won two straight games and Cooper Tidwell did his part to make it three on Friday. The Landrum Cardinals snuck past the Liberty Red Devils with a 64-60 win thanks in part to Tidwell, who went 10 of 13 en route to 28 points and five boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Landrum's victory bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Liberty, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Landrum will head out to take on Broome at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Landrum is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 69.9 points per game this season. As for Liberty, they will head out on the road to square off against Greenville Tech Charter at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty is facing Greenville Tech Charter at the right time seeing as Greenville Tech Charter is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
