Central is 9-1 against Woodburn since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Panthers are taking a road trip to square off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Central will be strutting in after a victory while Woodburn will be coming in after a loss.

Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on McNary with a sharp 15-3 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Woodburn's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts by a score of 6-5.

Woodburn's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Central, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Central got the 'W' when the teams last played back in April of 2025 against Woodburn by a conclusive 16-0 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
