Russellville took a nine-run  defeat the last time they faced off against South Callaway, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians narrowly escaped with a  win as the  squad sidled past the Bulldogs  10-8. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Russellville pushed their record up to 5-3 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for South Callaway, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record  this season.
 Coincidentally, Russellville and South Callaway will both be playing Blair Oaks the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Falcons at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday, while the Indians will  host them  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
