Murray has gone a perfect 3-0 against Cottonwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Spartans will look to defend their home court against the Colts at 6:30 p.m. Murray will be strutting in after a victory while Cottonwood will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Murray got the win against Stansbury by a conclusive 3-0. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Stallions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Murray not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Stansbury between 18 and 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Cottonwood came up short against Jordan on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Colts have struggled against the Beetdiggers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

While Cottonwood had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20.

Cottonwood's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Murray, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Murray took their win against Cottonwood when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Colts have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
