Football Game Recap: Independence vs. Carlin

Carlin won against Owyhee last Friday with 48 points, and Carlin decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. Carlin were the clear victor by a 48-26 margin over Independence. That result was just more of the same for Carlin, who also won the last time these teams played.

The win bumped Carlin's record up to 4-1. Independence are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.

Carlin will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Eureka. Eureka also lit up the scoreboard in their last match, so this could be a high-scoring match. Independence are packing up and heading on the road for their first away game this season. They face off against Owyhee at 1:00 PM. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss.
